“Willesdene” is a stone-built, two storey cottage. It is dated from the 1830’s and is “Listed” as a building of historical interest.
Downstairs, the front door opens to a reception area with its own store / drying room. From here, a door leads you to the sitting room on the right and the kitchen and dining room on the left.
The sitting room has a Smart TV, DVD player and stereo. The original fireplace is exposed and there is an electric stove for warmth.
If you have small ones with you, or if you are young at heart and appreciate a nice movie, we also offer Disney Plus service via the Smart TV – the archive of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars & Marvel movies and Disney Channel box-sets, as well as live streaming of the Disney Channel.
We have a large selection of games and books, should you fancy some downtime. We also have a chest put together to keep younger guests entertained if needed.
The kitchen is finished to a high specification with fridge, cooker, washing machine, microwave and small appliances.
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, with high quality hotel-grade beds. Our default configuration is a Super-King size bed in the master bedroom, with Twin singles in the second room, but we can easily set up four full size singles or a second Super-King.
There is a bathroom with full size bath, electric shower, basin, toilet and airing cupboard.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Electricity, heating and WiFi are included in your tarrif.
